We were approached to do a music video for the post-rock band Solar Ghost. The concept aims to play with the atmospheric elements of the music. We did two versions of the video; a more commerical purely slow motion version and a more experimental version with the use of datamoshing. Below is a mixture of both. Teaming up with three friends; Sam, Ned and Will, we split into two teams and raced away to Europe to raise money for Hait on a Jailbreak. Using skills and perseverance usually reserved for Russian fishermen we managed this. We recorded our adventure in the form of a documentary and a series of postcards taken from print screens of the two Moleskin books we took with us. I decided to incorporate the typography with the textures of fabric and instead of designing a flyer that was just a small poster, I formed the net of a box and designed it so that fans could make their own actual record box. Campaign to raise awareness of Amnesty Internation and their causes within Goldsmiths University. Saving on cost but maximizing effectiveness by using nine A3 posters to tile into one 5ft piece or 9ft long strip. A selection of the posters were put up individually with words like 'we', 'do' and 'Human Rights' as an extension to the campaign.
